Using MAME on an Arcade Monitor
	Available Modes DOS MAME features various low scanrate video modes which allow you to use it with your PC connected directly to an Arcade Monitor (or a domestic TV set) The options you need to do this are :-    -monitor arcade output arcade monitor compatible video    -monitor ntsc output NTSC TV compatible video    -monitor pal output PAL TV compatible video NTSC and PAL modes are a subset of the arcade monitor modes These modes works like the standard VGA or VESA modes of MAME If you don't specify a resolution, the best mode will be picked, if you do specify a valid resolution that will be used
	The following Arcade Monitor / TV modes are available in MAME Resolution  Mode Type  Vertical Refresh Rate  224x288  Unchained VGA  ~50Hz  256x240  Unchained VGA  ~60Hz  256x256  Unchained VGA  ~57Hz  288x224  Unchained VGA  ~60Hz  320x240  Unchained VGA  ~60Hz  320x256  Unchained VGA  ~57Hz  352x240  Unchained VGA  ~60Hz  352x256  Unchained VGA  ~57Hz  368x224  Unchained VGA  ~60Hz  368x240  Unchained VGA  ~60Hz  368x256  Unchained VGA  ~57Hz  512x224  Unchained VGA  ~60Hz  512x256  Unchained VGA  ~57Hz  512x448  Unchained 'half y' VGA  ~60Hz  512x512  Unchained 'half y' VGA  ~57Hz  640x480  SVGA  ~60Hz  If you select -monitor arcade all of these modes are available for -monitor ntsc only the 60Hz modes are available, for -monitor pal only the 57Hz or lower modes are available
